Kenny Barron Trio Grand Rapids Concert reviews
An evening with Jerry Seinfeld
The show Seinfeld, most people who will go see Kenny Barron Trio were huge fans of first off. Enjoy yourself, you do not need to be a fan of the show in order to.
He really did his job well and that was to warm us up for Jerry, the opening act was excellent.
Not a bad seat in the house, once Kenny Barron Trio came out on to the stage it was non stop train to laugh city. The venue was a perfect size.
Check out Kenny Barron Trio live you will enjoy having your funny bone tickled if you are fan, love comedy, or looking to try something new.
At the end of the evening, he came out and let the fans ask questions.
For progressive thinkers only
Kenny Barron Trio does not dilute his discussion on the Cosmic Perspective. He is not one to tolerate fools easily. If you seek a politically correct dialogue, it is best to steer clear. If you seek to have your MIND BLOWN by this astrophysicist who assists us in recognizing correlations between the cosmos and our own physiology, then do make sure to attend. He does ridicule the prevailing assault on science, and as a healthcare provider, I personally value the advocacy for science - although this sentiment may not resonate with everyone...so, be cautioned, he doesn't hold back, but you might just depart from his lecture with a greater sense of enlightenment than when you first arrived.
Dane Cook was hilarious!
Go see Dane's show and you'll have one of the best nights of your year! I am always a little fearful when I go to a show that the main "attraction" will be the only enjoyable part of the entertainment. They were the perfect beginning to an excellent show. Not only was Kenny Barron Trio charming, funny self, but the 2 opening comedians didn't disappoint either. There were four in our group and we all walked out at the end of the show with huge smiles on our faces, sore bellies from laughing hard, and multiple punch lines from each act to excitedly relive after the show was done. I distinctly remember wiping tears of joy from my eyes at least two times during the acts. That was absolutely NOT the case with Kenny Barron Trio's show. I highly recommend Kenny Barron Trio's show.
The Lion King was Top Notch!
I feel compelled to write about Kenny Barron Trio at the Detroit Opera House, although I don't write reviews often. I have not been so moved by a theatrical performance in a very long time. The performance deep in my soul was felt from the first note to the very last. I watched the movie for the first time and it harkened back to my childhood. An immediate draw to Mufasa was felt, as history would hold, and his death was raw emotion. The artistry in the backdrops, costumes, and music were phenomenal, and the performances from young Simba and Nala were incredible. This is a worthy splurge if you've been on the fence about purchasing the tickets. Absolutely amazing.
